A Message From The Director
“My name is Rosa Estrella and it is my pleasure to join the Tender Tots team. I look forward to establishing relationships with parents and staff that will foster the Tender Tots mission of providing children with high-quality early childhood education. I have been working in the field of Education since 2001. My first teaching experience was with the New York City Department of Education. While with the NYCDOE, I was a 1st-grade bilingual teacher. A couple of years later, after my youngest son was born, I took time off from work to become a stay-at-home mom. Upon returning to the workforce I pursued other teaching positions which allowed me to gain more experience as a teacher and, ultimately, as a supervisor.
As for my educational background, I hold a dual Master’s Degree in Early Childhood General Education and Special Education. I also possess NYS certification in Early Childhood Education. My love for and commitment towards helping children has led me to where I am today and I look forward to serving the families at Tender Tots in any way that I can. I am open to setting up meetings/phone conferences if any concerns/issues may arise.”
