During the month of March, the Lion Room have been studying about trees. The class has been discussing about the different parts of the trees, who lives in trees? What food comes from trees? and what are the characteristics of a tree? The class was able to go out for a walk around the neighborhood in order to search for different types of trees and the texture of their trunks. The children were able to observe the different types of trees there is in our neighborhood. The children were able to see the two types of trees there are deciduous (trees that have their leaves change color and fall during the Fall) and evergreen (trees that stay green throughout the whole year and their leaves do not fall or change color).
