The children have created frogs out of construction paper with the help of their teachers. This activity helps the children become familiar with the letter F and things that begin with F such as frog and fingers as well as helping them to identify a shape, that is circle and a color that is green. Prior to beginning the activity the children’s hands were traced to be used as the frogs hands. This part of the activity helps the children count to ten using the cut outs of their fingers. The completed artwork will be posted around the classroom for the children to continue to use as a learning tool as well as for the parents to view.
