Students decided to make their own paintings with ice cubes made out of food coloring. It was edible and easier for them to hold the handle and begin coloring as the painting would melt with the food coloring. The other difference was that since it was ice, there was no limiting the amount of times they put it in their mouth. Students learned another kind of texture by painting with ice cubes.
