This month we not only worked on learning about clothes but we also learned about people and places in our community. The Cheetahs learned that there are different kinds of soaps and we need soap to help us take care of our clothes. Therefore, we took a trip to the Laundromat to see the machines and how they work. While there, we saw that some machines are Small, Medium, or Large. The next week, we had a visit from Police Officers. Not only did we learn about safety, but that some people have special clothes for work. Lastly, we learned that some clothes are made through weaving and sewing. So, what better way to experience a Thanksgiving feast at our school than to weave a place-mat for our meal! What a great time we had feasting with all the different families in our class community!
