Welcome to the Cheetah Blog!  Our cheetahs are learning all about buildings this month.  They’ve learned that buildings come in different shapes, sizes, and what materials are used to build them.  The students also learned about the people who construct buildings and the kinds of tools they use.  The class will be creating three-dimensional shapes to depict the story of the Three Little Pigs.   They will make a house out of popsicle sticks to represent the house of sticks, drinking straws will be used to create the house of straw or hay, and finally, we will use toilet paper rolls and tiles to make a house out of bricks.  The children will also be learning about the meaning of being thankful and the celebration of Thanksgiving later on this week.  They will be learning about the different foods we eat traditionally at this time of the year.  We will be using what we learn about each other to compare and contrast the different traditions within our classroom.  Take a look at all the work we do in class.
