So far the month of July has been great for the Ladybugs! Some of the babies are learning to walk and some are learning to crawl. Some are even learning how to say “hi,” “mama,” “dada” and wave “bye”. The activities this month include camping in the classroom. We made a tent and a fireplace out of construction paper and some very yummy s’mores. Our Fourth of July activities include a picnic outside and running through the sprinklers.
July was also National Ice Cream Month, and we celebrated by making ice-cream from scratch. The babies loved it so much!
The themes for the rest of the month include “The First Moon Landing,” ” Beatrix Potters Birthday,” and the author and Illustrator of The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Friends.
I’m proud of all of the progress that the babies are achieving and it’s an honor and a pleasure to have them in my class and watch them grow!
