Welcome to all of my parents, old and new. I’m excited to meet with you tonight, to tell you all about our UPK program and to answer all of your questions . We are looking forward to a successful year. -Rachel
This month the giraffe room is learning about all things ‘Outer Space’ We talked about rocket ships, astronauts, and our solar system. Last week we talked about the sun, the moon, and all the different planets. The students were so excited to create and paint their very own planets.
This month our little elephants learned about planets and the solar system, while having fun with sticky glue and sparkly glitter! By pasting the planets cutouts in their solar system they work hard on refining their fine motor skills as well as their cognitive skills.
This week in the dragonfly class the students explored the zoo and the various animals you can see when visiting. The children learned to identify different animals, what they eat , color, and size. The students also did creative arts and craft activities, making tiger faces and silly monkeys

The Lions will be blasting off into Outer Space in the month of August. The Zebras ended “Big Fish” week with an awesome whale snack! We used craft sticks and marshmallows to create our very own Beluga whale. We added some flippers and a fluke to complete it. During snack time we got to enjoy our whales and eat them! The Zebras loved their tasty treat.
